Thomas Bangalter: We like the idea that we are doing things to appear out of nowhere. TB: Our setup is very different from that of the live shows we were there in 1997. They took a lot of old drum machines, synthesizers, sequencers, and we used at that time, we have similar virtual sets in a software-based control of computer music that are behind the scenes on the Ethernet controller of our pyramid, with synthesizers moog side. We always thought of different ways to play electronic music, that music made with machines. At the end we really understand the operators of the system that we built for this show.
